White and Plaid Christmas Tablescape

Hello friends, I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time hosting and visiting with family and friends. I absolutely love the holiday time of year and couldn’t wait to get started on my first tablescape of the season.

A few weekends ago, we took a family trip to Home Goods. That’s right, we take family outings to Home Goods, my favorite past time! But as family outings go with two kids under 4, we ended up in the toy aisle for what seemed like forever. Our little guy fell in love with a log truck. Needless to say, we had to leave the store before a breakdown happened. My husband had to go back to Home Goods this past Monday to get said truck so Santa can deliver it on Christmas day. Since I didn’t get to check out any of the items I was searching for, I asked my hubby to find some holiday napkins for me. He brought me back plaid ones and I just fell in love.

I headed to the grocery store and saw a beautiful display of eucalyptus. It smells so good that I just had to get a few plus flowers to help me create this flower arrangement. It definitely helps dress up the table without spending a lot of money!

Earlier this year, my mom handed down to me her wedding crystal glassware and this is the first time that I’m using it! It’s so beautiful and provided the perfect elegant touch to our table.

The gold charges are one of my best kept secrets when creating a tablescape. I always, always get my chargers at the Dollar Tree. Yep, you read that right, the Dollar Tree! They always have them in different colors this time and they have lasted years.

I then dressed up the table with my pretty CB2 glass candle holders to provide some ambient lighting. So simple and so pretty!

I hope you found some inspiration in this tablescape. It was so fun creating it and I can’t wait to have some family and friends over for the holidays!

Happy Holidays!
